John H. Lawrence's education and experience includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1975) from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and a Masters of Civil Engineering (2004) from the University of Arkansas. He has over thirty years of progressively increased responsibilities in the civil engineering and construction fields. As a member of the Arkansas Academy of Civil Engineers, National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE), Governor's Earthquake Advisory Council and a Licensed Professional Engineer (AR, OK, MS, and MO), John brings prestige, experience, integrity and dedication to his field.

Because of his extensive experience in the construction industry, John has fostered and developed an ability to analyze site damage, determine cause and effect from a structural point of view, and establish solid, reasonable projections for reconstruction. His work in the design and implementation phases of development and in actual project management has provided him with a foundation for making sound judgments based on factual information, compilation of data, and a thorough understanding of the requirements and components needed to complete projects on time and within budget.

As Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Lawrence Brothers, Inc. (formerly VALCO, INC.), John has been involved in all phases of heavy construction management from initial planning through project completion.
